Individuals:
Area doctors and veterinarians cheerfully serve us at the Winter gala after long days of serving us in their office. They can be proud of their care for us day after day and yet are humble enough to put out these extra efforts to help raise funds for our cold neighbors.

Groups and Institutions:
The youth group from Our Lady of Seven Dolors did a food collection for the food shelf.

C.V.P.S. also did a food drive to collect nutritious food for people in the Fair Haven area.

Classes at Fair Haven Graded School have gathered food for the food shelf, and donations to purchase food, and have helped wait table at the Community Thanksgiving dinner for a number of years.

Rutland Regional Community TV worked with board member Amy Pregger to produce a Fair Haven Concerned video, and helps us prepare pubical information programs to encourage participation in our CROP Walk each year.

FEMA - Every year the Federal Emergency Management Agency makes grants available for emergency fuel and shelter. Through the help of the Office of Economic Opportunity we have sought and obtained funds to give help.

From 2002 through 2005 people in our area hosted gigantic Crop Walks to raise money to fight hunger locally and globally. About $2500 or more each year has come back to help us provide sorely needed food for our niehghbors at the Holidays and throughout the year.
