The Lakes Regions Free Press has actively encouraged donations to Fair Haven Concern by providing large photographs in their publication to recognize major donors, and covered our events.

Rutland Herald has provided substantial articles to cover events and helped design publicity.

WCAX TV provided news coverage of our food distribution last year.

WVNR radio offers talk show coverage of our events.

WEQX radio provided live coverage of a CD giveaway to encourage food donations.


Shearer's Honda and their manager Kevin Bowie have been immensely helpful raising funds for our food shelf and getting our agency known around the area by sponsoring promotions, radio broadcasts, and linking us to other supportive businesses.

The Fair Haven Inn, especially Faith Lemnotis, has worked long and hard to create and enrich our annual December Gala. They have recruited folks to wait tables, set up a wonderful silent auction, found sponsors for the meals for tables full of participants, gathered all kinds of contributions, and of course, provided a delightful setting and fun spirit and mouth-watering food.

McDonald's of Fair Haven, particularly Suellen Schneider, has made our Summer Nutrition Program thrive by providing Happy Meals one day a week - a tremendous incentive for children to participate,

Chittenden Bank folks from Fair Haven take charge of the gifts from the Christmas Giving Tree, gathering gifts daily through the holiday season and wrapping them for a surprise friend, in addition to providing us with board member Peggy Ackerman.

Stewart's Shops of Fair Haven provide commendable community leadership every Christmas gathering donations that make our Christmas Food Baskets possible and DOUBLING every dollar given!

Holiday Inn of Rutland has provided continental breakfasts to help with a food donation promotion.

Cabot Creamery provides lots of cheese and dairy products for our neighbors.



American Fund Raising connected us with thousands of units of prepared foods from a discontinued food line and provides warehouse and refirgerated space when we need it, surplus gifts at holiday times, along with a line up of great people who volunteer when we need help!

Rutland Regional Medical Center sponsors gifts for several local families with their Adopt-A-Family at Christmas.
