Last year, when I was exploring Biblical plants on the internet, I discovered an ethnobiologist

who TEACHES and Studies in the Middle East

about BIBLICAL PLANTS!

His name is Lytton John Musselman

Lytton teaches at Old Dominion University in the States, and American University in Beirut, Lebanon

Lytton is carrying on research about the current uses and practices with Biblical plants in what we call the Holy Land.
Because of tremendous changes in the Middle East
many practices and plants from Biblical times are rapidly disappearing

so Lytton is trying to capture them in story and picture to save them for us and our posterity.

You can enter a whole world of life unfolding around a particular plant or its care
by going to any one of many pages Lytton has posted.

You will see Plants of the Bible as they grow today.
