The "Indian Stones" on Route 106 in Reading tell the story of
Susanna Johnson's capitivity in August 1754 at Charlestown NH and
the next day's birth of her child, a daughter, Elizabeth Captive
Johnson a few miles up the brook from the location of the stone.
