In
addition to actual policies, we have long been guided by
pledges we make to you. Although the era of the hand-shake-deal is pretty
much a thing of the past, nonetheless we appreciate that ethic and thus
take our pledges very seriously. As should you.

here are our two primary pledges, as well as the above links to our
policies.
Internet access
is our principal business, and we pledge that it will remain the primary
focus of our efforts. We actively manage our connections and pops,
ensuring the highest possible degree of reliability and performance,
as expected by our customers.
We
have implemented a system to notify you of events that may temporarily
affect your service. Such events include planned upgrades and maintenance,
service improvements, unplanned outages and significant policy changes.
In
addition to the emailed notice, we post such events here on our website
in the News/Notices section, and
on our shell server. The email notices are an opt-out item. To remove
yourself from this list, send a blank email to announcements-request@sover.net
with Subject: unsubscribe.
- Our goal
is to provide you with a minimum of 48 hours notice on any planned
upgrades & maintenance.
- We will
strive to provide you with announcements of new and improved features
and services prior to them becoming available to the general public.
- We will
strive to provide you with an announcement within a few hours of
any unplanned maintenance or disruption.
