Outside Sales Account Manager—Vermont and New Hampshire positions available

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Telecommunications and/or business-to-business sales experience required.
  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting and generating leads is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer literate-Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starters who are competitive, energetic and assertive have been extremely successful in our sales division.
  • Requires excellent telephone skills, attention to detail, customer-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Candidate should possess a first-rate work attitude with an ability to work as a team player.
  • Prior Telecom experience a plus.

Customer Care Representative -  Bellows Falls

Candidates should possess excellent telephone skills, attention to detail, customer-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. The candidate for this position should possess a first-rate work attitude with an ability to work as a team player.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER—Winooksi or Bellows Falls
This is a second level position with the NOC responsible for maintenance, support, trouble resolution, and root cause analysis. In addition to daily routine break-fix duties, this position will develop and manage small projects to enhance & expand the network, including cost analysis, detailed design, project planning, implementation, detailed documentation and cross-training of peers. The selected individual must demonstrate excellent customer service & team building skills and will be required to routinely interact directly customers, to serve as a technical mentor within the team, and to participate in & foster a “team environment.” This position will typically be called upon to diagnose difficult network performance problems and interact with application support teams to diagnose network/application performance issues. This position operates in a 7x24x365 environment, requiring flexible work hours.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated, in-depth, LAN/WAN support & administration experience (5+ years)
  • Experience in supporting large, complex IP networks in a large ISP/CLEC environment
  • Superior knowledge, skills & experience with Cisco routing and switching hardware, software, protocols, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc.
  • Superior knowledge, skills & experience with UNIX - FreeBSD and Solaris preferred
  • Strong working knowledge with implementation and support of VoIP Gateways - General Bandwidth G6, Tekelec 6000 preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of: IP, DNS, SNMP, LDAP, SSL, Radius, ATM, Ethernet, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, Trunking, Frame-relay
  • Ability to work with networking/telecommunications vendors to resolve issues
  • Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead when required, and as a participant in a team environment
  • Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude Willingness to participate in rotating schedules and share on-call duties
  • (Preferred) College degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications (or related technical degree)
