GIZMO'S GOSSIP
Hi again everyone. Gizmo here.
Well Well Well. I can see that the Buck Hollow Farm Pet Photo Contest
has generated massive excitement. Those photos have been coming non-
stop keeping Mom busy getting the website all set up.
!
And. Man Oh man ! Folks have been sending in photos from near and
far. Over 30 states and 10 countries including Germany and
Australia. AUSTRALIA ! That's three days of travel for just a two
night stay. And wait till you see what pet photo they sent in.
Oh, by the way. I'm amazed at what lengths humans have gone to win.
Costumes, blow dried hair, curlers, makeup and funky clothes -
just to name a few. I'm going to lobby Mom and Dad to award the PETS
a two or one night stay. After all, it's their photo and their
embarrassment which will be awarded. Anyhow,
CLICK HERE TO VOTE and may the best dog
(OOPS ...PET) win !
Love Gizmo

May the Best Pet Win!!
Hi,
Winter just seems to be holding on until
the very end even though spring has officially arrived. We can however look
forward to warmer times. In keeping with that one of Vermont's major
attractions is Lake Champlain which is the largest freshwater lake in the U.S.
after the five Great Lakes, and is one of Vermont’s most sought after
destinations.
The best way to enjoy the lake is with a cruise aboard the 424 passenger
Spirit of Ethan Allen III. Discover the region’s rich history, as the Captain’s
narration unfolds tales of Indian lore, the Revolutionary War, and Ethan Allen
himself. Explore the depths of the shoreline as the ship cruises alongside the
lake’s unique geographic formations. Savor the majestic beauty of the Adirondack
and Green Mountain ranges that surround the lake. Bring your cameras--the
largest recorded mass siting of Champ, our elusive lake monster, was aboard the
Spirit of Ethan Allen I.
Lake Champlain is the largest freshwater lake in the U.S. after the five Great Lakes
Lake Champlain is only one of a few lakes that flows in a northerly direction
The lake is 12.2 miles wide, 120 miles long, and 427 feet deep at its deepest point. It encompasses Vermont, New York, and the Province of Quebec, Canada
Lake Champlain is believed to have the best collection of historic shipwrecks in North America
Samuel de Champlain discovered the lake in 1609
Cruises begin May 17th until October 19th. There are a wide variety of
cruises available. Take a scenic narrated trip, a lunch or dinner cruise
with live entertainment or maybe book for the Mother's Day Cruise. You
can check it all out at
Spirit of Ethan Allen.
Keep your eyes open for Champ, our friendly lake monster!
