GIZMO'S GOSSIP
Hi again everyone. Gizmo
here.
A couple weeks ago guests arrived with what appeared to be a
miniature me. His name was (and probably still is) Corduroy, Nice
enough dog I guess, except once he spotted me he must have thought I
was his long lost ancestor. He just was all over me like a wet
blanket. He jumped, leaped and did whatever he could to draw my
attention away from my duties, and nothing I did could dissuade
him. Meanwhile Utah was trying to get CORDUROY'S attention so that
they could play. No such luck (for me). The result was a general
state of chaos whenever Corduroys was near.
Being wanted is not necessarily all it's cracked up to be.
Thanks for listening.

VERMONT EVENTS August 2007
Only in Vermont : Thanks to a local Vermonter who sent a picture of a newborn baby cow with these comments: "In my 5 years in Colchester, I have never seen a newborn baby moose. This one was not even a half a mile from our house. The mother picked a small quiet neighborhood and had her baby in the front yard at 5:30 am We were out bike riding when we came upon the pair. The lady across the street from this house told us she saw it being born. We saw them at 5:30 pm . So the little one was 12 hours old. What an awesome place we live in to see such a site.. |
