Morning frost, vacant trees, an active woodstove, and
the end of the World Series (a better one could not be
imagined) all point to summer's end. Our summer and fall
were the busiest yet. We ( and the dogs) made many new
friends. Please look at the link to the wonderful
foliage photos Jacquie took during October.
With fall here and winter close we remind you that
Smuggler's Notch ski area is just 30 minutes away. It is
rated the best family ski area in the East. In addition
we have miles of cross country skiing on our property
and expect to groom our trails this season, making it
much easier for many of you.
Finally, a reminder of our current special. A "threefer".
Stay three nights (or more) and the last night is on us.
Plus on that last night we'll provide one of Jacquie's
outstanding pizzas PLUS a new fabulous home made desert.

BRAD & JACQUIE'S KITCHEN

Chocolate
Waffles
2
large eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 3/4 cups milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
4
tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
- Preheat
waffle iron and spray lightly with oil.
- In
a medium bowl, whisk eggs until foamy.
- Whisk
in melted butter and milk.
- Add
remaining ingredients and whisk until just
smooth.
- Pour
3/4 cup batter onto hot waffle iron.
- Close
lid and bake until steam stops and waffle is
lightly browned (3-4 min)
- Drizzle
with chocolate sauce.

Hi again everyone:
The colors were great, the temperatures fine,
loads of people plus doggies poo.
Now it is cooler, a nip in the air.
Footballs are flying, the leaves are too.
This newsletter says it's November - oh dear,
there's many to thank as that day draws near.
So Mary and Echo, you know we're not fancy.
For proof you need only to ask Jonathan / Nancy.
But thank you I do, along with Tammy,
and I can't forget Carolyn in Miami.
Karin and Cloe I do think of you, plus Jim and
Prince Dumont, the Baxters too.
Jim and Deb, it sure was a pleasure
to see you with Mom and Dad together.
Thank you Pat Daniels, and Lynda Bessette
(I'm sorry I'm not through with this list quite
yet).
Cause I need to add Jeanine and Audettes,
plus Sandy, Cathy and Ives, you bet.
The Milligans, Pitts, we all had a ball,

Oh Tony and Nina, in just a few weeks,
we'll see Sue and Leeba and kiss a few cheeks.
Be sure that that my naming and thanking a few,
does not mean ungratefulness' to the rest of
