The Square Extension Dining Table in contrast to the
Harvest Farm Table expands through the center of the table with
either one or two 15" wide boards enlarging the table another 15
to 30 inches. The table top is crafted in pine with the base and
legs in
maple. Opt for several table top choices such as 100 year old
wood, aged finish, clear pine top or alternate
stained finish. See link to Table Tops below and our
Color Chart for stain and color choices.
These tables are standard in 5 ft. long x 30" wide with 2 center extensions, each 15". Therefore, with one extension in the table, it is 60" x 45"' with both extensions, it becomes a square table; 60" x 60".
Finishes are
hand-painted and distressed so that no two pieces are
identical. Each piece is protected by at least two coats of
polyurethane varnish and a coat of furniture wax which requires no
maintenance. This finish protects against water marks and can be
cleaned with a clean, damp cloth. For a list of colors please refer
to the Color Chart.

Tables From Old Wood
There
are many new options for table tops. Each of the farm
tables, round extension tables and square extension
tables are available in either a distressed stained pine
top, a special 'aged finish' which accentuates the grain
and natural flaws in the wood, or a birch top.
The
farm table is also available in 100 year old wood, which
is by far the most popular finish. Shown in the pictures
below
