My Cats Leave Pawprints on The Inside of My Soul!!!

These are my two favorite Cats. Please meet "Xena" (the one with the bug eyes whole can see inside your mind even if you are a concrete duck), who is truly a "Princess Warrior"and her brother "Cyrus", who likes to make sure that she knows "he is the boss" (must be a man thing). I had to shave Cyrus's ass because he was a bad boy.

Some people say that I have too many cats. I say that cats are a bundle of love wrapped in fur:

Actually, I think Rufus is to blame for my having too many cats:

Rufus was our first cat. He built that thing he's wearing in the basement one day. I think it's what allows him to speak directly to my brain.

Rufus tells us which cats to take in. Like miles:

Miles can change the channels on the TV with his eyes. We're only allowed to watch the food network and, occassionally, Animal Planet. He also uses his eyes to program Jim's Palm Pilot. Here's Jim's appointment calendar for Tuesday:

9:00 -- Buy salmon

10:30 -- Vasectemy

1:00 -- Rent 'That Darn Cat'

This is Rufus's Mom, Rita:

Our biggest cat is Whiskers. Here's a picture of Whiskers and our neighbor Dan:

Dan is laughing because Whiskers just ate his dog. Here's a poem I wrote about Whiskers:

i want my chow

i said meow and i mean now

my name is whiskers and you're my slave

give me the food that i crave

open that can quick as you can

i said meow and i mean now

Rufus is having us teach the cats to walk on their hind legs. Here's Jim working with our newest cat, Simon:

Shortly after this picture was taken, Jim lost the tip of his fore-finer and thumb so now we use tongs.

There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of it’s many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

I have to go and make Rufus's dinner now because I don't want to have to cross the rainbow bridge just yet. Keep on lovin' those kitties!
