The Fishnet Organization
Since the vision for Fishnet was given primarily through George and Rena Larson we regard them as our founders. Together with other members, they serve on a General Council which provides oversight and direction for Fishnet. The core of Fishnet is the groups that meet regularly for fellowship, healing, prayer and ministry.
One type of group is the Regional group led by a facilitator and co-facilitator, who are chosen by each group . Sharing in the groups is guided by the question "Where am I with Jesus today?" The other type of group is the Fellowship group, led by a Shepherd or Shepherds. These groups meet more frequently, usually weekly, and are more like a Home Church.
Members of the groups are invited to share in the planning and ministry at retreats and conferences sponsored by Fishnet and to contribute to the quarterly newsletter.
The first requirement of membership in Fishnet is to have that longing in our hearts to be a people of Presence as described in our Statement of Purpose. If the Father has given us such a longing, then, we may choose to express that longing within the fellowship of Fishnet. By subscribing to the Fishnet commitment we become a Fishnet member. No dues are required and no salaries are paid to any members. All members of Fishnet join voluntarily and render services freely.
