The Garden Sampler

A Newsletter for Hardy Northern Gardeners
PO Box 7, Peru, VT 05152

Published eight times a year,

our newsletter covers a wide range of topics

with information geared to the special problems that gardeners face

in cold climates.

We focus on organic methods of insect control

and soil fertility,

and cover topics ranging from herbs and perennials

to beans and gardening by the phase of the moon.

Published in Peru, Vermont, our newsletter draws on the experience of some very "hardy" gardeners who grow vegetables, fruit, and even scores of roses in USDA Zone 3. Printed on a fine quality recycled paper, The Sampler features black and white photographs and lovely graphics in each edition. Every issue is ad-free; you don't have to go searching for the information hidden among the ads!

Every year, we trial the best tomatoes to grow in cooler climates, and we are constantly testing roses for hardiness to Zone 3, all so we can give you the most current information on the best varieties to plant in our region. Our spring and fall planting guides feature specific varieties of plants and seeds, to help your garden decisions.
