Foreign exchange rates and time zones

As of 1 January 2002, most of Europe converted their currency to a new currency called the Euro. It is designed to provide a common currency for the European Common Market and is roughly comparable to the US Dollar. The 12 countries using the Euro are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.
