Every Wednesday from 10-12 folks from churches in the Fair Haven area
are meeting for prayer and praise. If you want to know more,

In the year 2000 all of the churches of Fair Haven worked together to host a wonderful series of six Life in the Spirit Seminars. Uplifting speakers, delightful musical praise singing and powerful small groups blesed us all. Many people welcomed the Holy Spirit to fill their lives. We carefully followed the teaching of the Life in the Spirit Team Manual and they were immensely helpful. For several months later we celebrated a Weekly Ecumenical Praise, Prayer, and Practice service. They continue on a more informal basis now as prayer groups:
• Wednesdays from 7:00 PM until done we share and pray for one another one by one
at Helen Allen's House at the end of Grape St. Ext., Call her at 265-3465 for more information.
• Thursday evening prayer meeting at John and Ann Wood's House, 32 West St. Call them for information at 265-8879.
If you would like to purchase a copy of the Life in the Spirit Team Manual, it is available from Amazon.com or from any bookstore. Available in Paperback, it was published in March 1979 by Servant Publications, ISBN: 0892830654 Cost $9.99 While this is called the Catholic Edition, it varies only slightly from the now out of print Ecumenical Edition.
A daily devotional guide for the six weeks of the Life in the Spirit seminar entitled Finding New Life in the Spirit (pictured above) may also be ordered from Amazon.com or your local bookstore. Available as a pamphlet, it was also published by Servant Publications, SBN: 0892830018 and sells for $1.99 a copy.
