Green is GREAT!
(and so is Minnesota!)

It took a year to plan and 9 months to execute, but we're finally home.  Along the way, we have picked up two four-wheel drive vehicles, a garden tractor, a tree-chewing chainsaw, and a beautiful, house with 36 acres of land!  Our new address is 18116 Woodrow Road, Brainerd, MN  56401; come visit!

Below is a summary of the salient events of our relocation; for anyone planning such a leap, once you doubled your guess for how long things will take, double that as well!  (For larger versions of the photos, you can click on them.)

Finally,  a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone in Korea, Vermont, Minnesota, and Canada who helped along the way.
We couldn't have done it without your help!

Close on Woodrow Road; the house is ours!

September 6, 2006 First guests (Uncle Carroll and Aunt Marguerite) arrive and sleep in parking lot in their 5th-Wheel RV as the house has no furniture.  The next day the Garden Tractor from Sears arrives--very exciting!

Because we had no furniture, we had a pizza dinner in the shop on cardboard tables, but no one seemed to mind as there was an excellent rain storm to keep us entertained.
