Hello from Brainerd, MN!

—Adam and Heidi’s Web Center

In 2000, Heidi and Adam bought a bushel of ISBNs and formalized their work in literacy, literature, editing, and consulting.  See what they've done and what they can do for you!

Community and Fun

Even though we're new to Brainerd, we still like making a difference.  At this link you'll see what we have been up to since as we settle in, including team-teaching robotics classes for local 4H clubs, enjoying time with family and friends, and spending time in nature.

Renovations!

Before we could really move in, we spent a lot of time planning how to make the house we had purchased work for us.  There were several things we wanted.  For example, walls in the bedroom and bathroom fans would be nice!  Along the way, we added doors, windows, flooring, and lots and lots of paint.  This link includes some before and after shots of our work!

Returning to the U.S.

In January 2007, we started sending boxes to the U.S. and in May we resigned our positions in South Korea and headed to the mid-west to be closer to family and put down roots.  See a synopsis and photos if you wish.

In the meantime, we're thrilled to now call Brainerd, Minnesota, "home!"

From February 28, 1997 to March 23, 2001, we had the pleasure of living within the walls of this wonderful, two-story octagon house on Route 26, South Otselic, NY.  After moving in, we began learning about the history of this particular octagon as well as octagon houses in general. The new owner, Mr. Michael Sheridan, plans to continue restoring it, including period furnishings and a new exterior!

The Wedding

On June 29th, 1997, we celebrated our union with a commitment ceremony at the Ithaca College Chapel in Ithaca, NY. Darcy Smith and Rich Andrulis facilitated the ceremony, and many of our friends and family (and we've included links to them on this page) participated to make the event one we’ll remember forever.
