Next NVMUG Meeting

Scott Pelok who was the President of NVMUG when I joined will be with us via Internet from Michigan. We will use the hospital's projector to show Scott on the screen, assuming this works. I am not sure what Scott will talk about, but I am sure it will be interesting.

As usual there will be time to discuss questions and items that interest you. WiFi will be available.

NVRH Facilities Contributed to a Fine Meeting

The wifi and projection facilities at the Northern Vermont Regional Hospital contributed greatly to the success of the meeting.

We used them to explore Adobe Photoshop Express Beta, to show slides for a professional print competition, to show capabiities of Keynote presentations, and to try iChat.

Geof Gonter showed a device to use your computer as a voice telephone. Warren Walker showed new prints. Regional libraries were discussed.

March 2008 Discussion Circle at NVRH

This was our first meeting at NVRH, and the facilities were excellent.

The meeting's discussions included learning on the Internet, buying a less expensive PC, how members use their computers, and security.
