Apple Confidential 2.0 is a worthy success to the 1999 edition off Apple Confidential which ended with Steve Jobs as an interim CEO and the introduction of the iMac. Apple Confidential was The Real Story of Apple Computer, Inc. while Apple Confidential 2 is the Definitive History of the World's Most Colorful Company. Apple Confidential 2 is entirely reorganized and the quality of the publication has been improve, yet it still contains all the interesting little known information from the first edition and lots more.

Apple Confidential 2 still tells the amazing story of the little known founder who walked away from a fortune, but now it tells equally interesting newer stories such as Steve Jobs and NEXT, and later how Apple bought NEXT and the basis for the Mac OS X. Here you can read about Pixar which made Steve Jobs a billionaire. One of the new highlights of the book is Steve Woziak's story brought up to date.

Apple Confidential 2.0 is the history it says it is, and it is a most entertaining tale. This book will not tell you how to use a computer, but it is one book that every Apple enthusiast would enjoy reading.
