Voices that Matter
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers
follows the workflow used by Scott Kelby and other professional photographers. It begins with the shoot with laptop nearby. Next follows getting the pictures into Lightroom, and organizing your photos including, and sorting out the bad shots to get to the best shots you really want to spend time on.
Then it covers how to quickly process those photos that do now warrant taking time make them your best.
There are chapters on editing your photos, correcting problem photos, and converting to black and white.
These are followed by three chapters on sharing your photos in a slide show, printing your photos, and getting them on the Web.
While almost all of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers
is about Lightroom, Scott Kelby does cover getting your photos into Photoshop for some special kinds of work and back into Lightroom for printing and other use.
The final two chapters cover the full workflow for covering a wedding and for a landscape shoot.
I do not have Lightroom, so cannot comment on important parts of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers.
I can say that Scott Kelby uses his own quality photos to very good effect. My general impression is that this is a readable informative and practical book like his Photoshop CS Book For Digital Photographers which I have and which is one of the best selling technical books ever.
