The organ was built for Mr. W. H. Walker for the sum of $19,750, not including
the elaborately carved and gilded console, and is in its original location. The
blower was disconnected some years ago, and many pipes (particularly of the
Diapason F) are missing. The organ is installed in the Tudor-style music room,
with the Echo located above the ceiling, requiring the services of a stunted
midget contortionist for tuning access.
