Members present: Peter May (PM); Ellen Pratt (EP); Virginia Scholl (VS); Anne Fines (AF)

PM called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm.

The school board held a Special Meeting, in conjunction with the Supervisory Union Board, to take action on the Classified Staff Agreement.

PM stated that he would not participate in this discussion or in the board's vote on the agreement.

The Negotiations Committee of the Supervisory Union Board reached agreement with the Education Support ParaEducators on wages and benefits.

According to the memo to the supervisory union Finance Committee members from Ron Stahley and Jim Kane, "This proposed agreement addressed the issue of a livable wag for the support staff while maintaining a reasonable increase for budgets of the participating districts."

VS moved "to ratify the contract between the Education Support Paraeducators and the school district."

EP seconded.

The motion was passed unanimously.
