Hi!
My name is Megan. I am 11 years old. I have a cat. His name is Rocky. He does lots of funny things. He does backward somersaults. He watches Lassie. We were upstairs and we were watching a Lassie movie. He came up and stayed with us. Then at the end, he laid down in front of the television and started watching it. And sometimes, when we are eating at the table in the morning, he looks at the birds outside and makes a funny sound.
I like horses. They are one of my favorite mammals. ...and whales. When I was in second grade, we studied whales. I liked it when my teacher talked about them. We also watched a movie with lots of different movies that go with it that was called "The Voyage of the Mimi". After recess, we always studied about whales for 20 minutes. We also adopted a whale and a wolf. I don't remember their names, but I remember that my friends mom brought in the chart for the wolf. We had a hard time choosing which one.
My birthday is September 8th. This year I had a lot of fun. I went to Hawaii. I went to Florida, I went to Camp Nokomis. I really like Camp Nokomis. I like coloring Easter eggs. I like going to a Nanci Griffith concert. I like going swimming. I like art. I like my daddy. I like my kitty.
Dad's going to put some pictures on my page. One is of me buried in the sand in Hawaii. Another is of my friend A-bootie. His real name is Abdula Al-Ahmed, my friend from Saudi Arabia. There is a picture of me and my sister too. I hope you like them.
