Hi! Welcome to the original official personal site of Nanci Griffith containing references to other sites and current information about her touring and other facts as well as some of the old links from the original days of the site. It was created by me, Kirsten Schrull, a pal of Nanci's, and was reviewed and authorized by Nanci and issued on December 12, 1995. After a good number of years of volunteering to establish and then maintain an internet pressence for her, other school and performing obligations made it difficult to maintain the site, while at the same time it was the desire of Gold Mountain Entertainment, to incorporate more modern interent presentation and assume responsibility for an official artist site. My sister Meg, Dad and I, now administer and moderate the new Nanci Message board. The new official home for Nanci is at www.nancigriffith.com . Any other sites are not specifically sanctioned or authorized but are sincerely appreciated. Over time, this original site will become more of a portal to internet information on Nanci as well as an archive of some of Nanci's material and especially the older internet references.

While you are visiting, you may enjoy reading some wonderful stories of fun times with Nanci and the Band. They are treasures in time, remembered for life.

Kirsten (the artistic director, Child of the Nineties) who has performed with Nanci, and her dad Rob (the html slave) have enjoyed the friendship and the memories. We deeply treasure them as well as the thankfulness and appreciation as expressed by Nanci and Gold Mountain, for the intial establishment of this site and the work over the years.
