You have entered the world of the SnowLeopard Sled, possibly the best
made,
highest performance recreational downhill sled in the Western World.
It is constructed of choice hardwoods, special low friction plastics,
and
stainless steel construction to give you a lifetime of sliding enjoyment.
As in any sport, and sledding really is a sport, there are grave dangers
involved
as you approach the "extreme" range of the activity. Trees, snowpeople,
hay bales,
and snowforts are your worst enemies. Long open hills and long
driveways become
your friends.
These sleds are designed for the adult, however kids enjoy them as well.
They are
intended to last a long time, if treated properly. I do NOT recommend
taking these
sleds over jumps. They are not structured to absorb the sudden
impact of an adult
landing from a drop of more than 6 inches. You can run and jump
on the sled for
that bit of extra speed. DO NOT sled anywhere there may be a
chance of hitting
solid obstacles, either in the middle of, or at the end of the hill.
DO sled where
you have plenty of runout, or another means of stopping. These
sleds love to
glide over a very miniscule slope. Practice turning and getting
the feel of the sled
on a moderate slope before embarking on something more thrilling.
Read the
manual. It has tips on maintenance as well as tips on steering.
