Guided tours and Activity: $5 per student. Self-guided tours, no activity: $2 per student

Chaperones:
Ages 6 and younger: 1 chaperone for each 5 students
Ages 7 and older: 1 chaperone for each 8 students

The 551 was built July 1913 by the Osgood Bradley Car Company of Worcester, MA. The 551 is a shining example of how traveling by rail once was.

The 260 was built in 1891 by the Wagner Car Company. The 260 is possibly the oldest standard gauge car still in active revenue service in New England.

Bennington Fish Culture Station

Bennington FCS, built in 1916, is Vermont's second largest fish culture station. This culture station uses a combination of spring, artesian well, and stream water for raising brook, brown, and rainbow trout. The facility's interesting and informative activities and visitor center make it an attraction for visitors of all ages. Visitors can interact with the fish and possibly get a glimpse of a great blue heron, osprey, otters or mink. The station is located two miles from downtown Bennington on South Stream Road.

1903, Robert Todd Lincoln, the eldest and only surviving son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, built Hildene at the turn of the 20th century. Robert first came to Vermont with his mother and his Brother Tad in the summers of 1863 and 1864. He was so taken with its beauty that he returned some forty years later to purchase 500 acres on which to build what he called his ancestral home.

The Bellows Falls Fish Ladder
One of a series of fishways constructed on the Connecticut River to help Atlantic salmon and American shad return to their natural spawning grounds in the upper Connecticut River Basin.
